We decided to try this new Korean restaurant down the road last week, Shilla. Unfortuntely when we step foot into the restaurant, the place was quiet and empty. But to our suprise the food was great!
Opened about 1-2 months ago by Koreans.
Potatoes, mix veg, tofu and brinjals for starters which was absolutely free.
Squid with exotic vegetables. It was a pretty big portion and it was one of the best rice I've ever eaten! It was a lil like glutinous and sushi rice but 100x better!!!!! Made with high quality rice and I wouldnt mind having it everyday! no kidding..=)
Kimchi soup with pork.
They were extremely friendly and the service was superb! Will definately head back there again soon.
We made steak and mash with brocolli soup for dinner. Btw,the green stuff is not grass, its called rocket. Strong and funny taste which ken thinks is nice...yeer
